The summer institute, completed in the first year, is a four to five day training that is developed by the NPDC with the state leadership and hosted in the partner state by the NPDC. The summer institute brings together all model site team members, local and state technical assistance providers, and state leadership to learn about the NPDC model and to plan specific activities for model sites and target students in the fall.
Purpose:
To train all team members on the project model and procedures, some EBP, and on the coaching process
Procedure:
Cooperation between NPDC staff and state partners to plan event. NPDC staff conduct training
