MODULE: Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) 

Objectives

Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

1. give a basic overview of PECS, including what it is, what ages it is used with, and the steps involved in developing an individualized PECS program;
2. identify resources to use in developing PECS programming; and
3. implement PECS for learners at the preschool and elementary school levels.
