 MODULE: Parent-Implemented Intervention


After completion of this module, participants will:

  1. discuss the rationale for using parent-implemented intervention;
  2. describe the steps involved in implementing parent-implemented intervention;
  3. describe the process of developing an individualized intervention plan based on identified goals, family characteristics, and the context where intervention will occur;
  4. describe the process of developing, implementing, and monitoring a structured parent training program that is based on the intervention plan and the
    preferences, characteristics, and concerns of the parents; and
  5. discuss the purpose of data collection in planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring parent-implemented intervention.
